Our Story
Yazz Number One Hair Studio opened its doors in 1994 as a small shop in Yeadon, with a small but enthusiastic team. Our owner, Paul Shakeshaft, has consistently driven the business forward, expanding our operations and solidifying our place in the hairdressing industry. Today, we operate two salons - Yazz Rawdon and Yazz Guiseley - as well as Yazz Barbers and our esteemed Yazz Hairdressing Academy.
Education and Training

That's why we employ a full-time in-house educator who supports our trainees and keeps our Creative Team up to date with the latest techniques and trends. Our Yazz Hairdressing Academy offers a range of courses, including apprenticeships, tailored private courses, and barbering courses, to help aspiring hairstylists develop their skills and passion.
