Sutton Tots Day Nursery is a reputable childcare facility dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Our nursery is located in Sutton-on-Hull, Hull, and we have been serving the local community for several years. Our team of highly trained and dedicated staff is committed to ensuring that each child in our care receives the best possible start in life.

Our Team

At Sutton Tots Day Nursery, we believe that our staff are our greatest asset. Our team is comprised of individuals who are passionate about working with children and have extensive experience and qualifications in childcare. All of our staff are paediatric first aid trained, have up-to-date DBS checks, and are knowledgeable in Safeguarding and Food Hygiene, among other areas. Our staff's dedication and commitment to providing high-quality childcare have enabled us to build a strong reputation in the local community.

Our Nursery

At Sutton Tots Day Nursery, we provide a safe, happy, secure, and stimulating environment for children. We encourage each child to be independent and develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and respect for others in the environment. We help children to develop a positive attitude to learning that will support them throughout their life. We nurture and develop every child to be all that they can be.

We support British Values through our daily activities and understand that what we provide for our children in the early years will have an impact on their future learning. We teach our children that "If you can dream it, you can do it." Many of our children join us through recommendations, and we are very pleased to have this reputation.

Our Rooms

At Sutton Tots Day Nursery, we have three rooms that cater to different age groups:

• Baby Room (0-2 Years): Our baby room is well-equipped to enhance your baby's development, and our staff-to-baby ratio is one practitioner to three babies. We have a separate changing area located outside of the baby room. Our babies are given lots of attention and stimulation to help with their development throughout the day.
• Toddler Room (2-3 Years): Our toddler room offers a range of resources and activities that meet your child's needs. Our staff-to-toddler ratio is one practitioner to four toddlers. We have a messy area where your child can play with sand, water, painting, etc. We have a role play area to allow your child to let their imagination run away. We have a cosy book corner for those quiet moments in the day. We help your child with toilet training and other self-care skills.
• Pre-School Room (3-5 Years): In our Pre-School Room, we continue to work within the EYFS. Our staff-to-child ratio is one practitioner to eight children. There is an emphasis on increasing a child's self-esteem and confidence to allow a smooth transition to school. The children have many activities and age-appropriate activities and toys, including ICT and many different construction toys, art and craft activities. Early reading, writing, and number skills are also introduced.

Our Garden

All of the children have use of our garden all year round, and we provide waterproofs so that the children can enjoy the outdoors whatever the weather. Outdoor learning experiences are often remembered for a lifetime, and learning outdoors can be enjoyable, creative, challenging, and adventurous and helps young children learn by experience and grow as confident and responsible children who value and appreciate nature and the outdoors.
