CNC Retrofit
Our CNC Retrofit service includes control only replacements to complete CNC and electrical packages. With an in-depth working knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Bosch Rexroth & Fagor controls, we have the expertise to upgrade your machines to the latest technology while minimizing downtime.
Machine Refurbishment
Our machine refurbishment service ranges from partial overhauls to complete machine refurbishment and re-manufacture. We can restore your machines to their original specifications or upgrade them to meet your modern manufacturing needs.
Special Purpose Machines
We design, manufacture, and supply special purpose machines to a diverse range of industries, including metal cutting, carbon manufacture, subsea, textiles, and food. Our expertise in designing and building custom machinery ensures that your production processes run efficiently and effectively.
Projects
Over the past 30 years, EES has rebuilt, re-manufactured, re-engineered, and retrofitted a wide variety of machines. Some of our recent projects include the CNC bread blade grinding line, Cincinnati grinder, centerless grinder rebuild, Binns and Berry CNC lathe, and many more.
About EES
Located in purpose-built works in Halifax, West Yorkshire, EES provides full turnkey solutions for all machine tool refurbishment and new 'bespoke' machinery requirements. Our core capabilities include mechanical design, electrical design, PLC software design, electrical cabinet build, and assembly.
Mechanical Design
Our in-house mechanical design team uses Autodesk Inventor 'Ultimate' product design suite, enhanced features include finite element analysis (FEA), dynamic simulation, frame analysis, frame generator, tube & pipe generator, and sheet metal constructor.
Electrical Design
All electrical design is carried out in-house using AutoCAD LT. Our designs comply with the very latest British (BS), Euronorm (EN), and harmonized standards.
PLC Software Design
Our in-house team of software applications engineers design and develop PLC software using leading CNC system suppliers, including Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Bosch Rexroth & Fagor.
Electrical Cabinet Build
Our electrical interface cabinets and control panels are assembled and wired in-house by our team of qualified electrical technicians.
Build & Assembly
All machine build and fitting work is carried out in-house by our team of apprentice-trained machine tool engineers. Our machines are assembled, built, checked, and aligned to relevant industry standards.
