First Steps Day Nursery is a family-run business that has been providing a warm and welcoming environment for children since 2001. Set in the picturesque village of Great Wilbraham, our nursery is easily accessible from Cambridge and the surrounding areas. Here, children are treated like family, and our dedicated team of carers work tirelessly to create a nurturing atmosphere that fosters learning, growth, and development.

As such, we believe that it is essential to work closely with parents and carers to provide a tailored learning experience that meets each child's individual needs and interests.
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to provide a comprehensive and inclusive learning experience for children. Our services include:
- A full-day provision from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Three meals per day, plus snacks and refreshments
- A team of experienced and dedicated carers who are committed to providing personalized care and support
- A stimulating and inclusive environment that encourages learning, exploration, and creativity
- Regular activities and sessions designed to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- A focus on building strong relationships between children, carers, and families
Early Years Funding
We accept funded Early Years Education hours, and we are happy to accommodate children who receive funding. However, please note that funded hours only cover the core Early Years Foundation Stage, and additional hours or services may incur an additional cost.
