Our Services
At ABC Children's Day Nursery & Out of School Club, we offer a range of services designed to cater to the diverse needs of our children. We provide full-day care for children aged 6 months to 5 years old, with flexible sessions available to accommodate the unique needs of each family. Our centre is registered with OFSTED and is a member of the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA) and the Early Years Alliance (EYA), ensuring that we are always up-to-date with the latest developments in childcare and education.
Our Team
Our team of highly qualified and experienced childcare practitioners is dedicated to providing fun, loving, and educational care for every child. Our team members have a combined total of 165 years of experience in childcare, with many holding qualifications in NVQ levels 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. We are passionate about providing a safe, stimulating, and happy environment for our children, embracing the principles of child-centred learning and play-based education.
Our Facilities
Our centre boasts three spacious care rooms, each designed specifically for the age group of the children. We also have two secure outdoor play areas, one for under-2s and one for over-2s, each equipped with play apparatus and toys to promote physical development, social skills, and creative play. Our outdoor play areas are designed to encourage active play and exploration, with soft and safe surfaces, wooden decking, and sandpits.
Our Curriculum
We follow the national curriculum for the Early Years Foundation Stage, planning activities and experiences that allow children to learn through play. We share information with parents regarding their child's development, planned activities, and tips on how to support learning at home. Our full-time chef prepares healthy, balanced meals for our children, catering for special diets and offering a 41-day rolling menu that celebrates diversity and cultural exchange.
Our Commitment to Child Safety
At ABC Children's Day Nursery & Out of School Club, we take the safety and well-being of our children very seriously. We ensure that all our staff undergo rigorous enhanced DBS checks and training in Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding Children.
