Holywell Green Primary & Nursery School is a one form entry primary school situated in the picturesque Calderdale countryside, just above Halifax. Our school is fortunate to have extensive grounds that include a wildlife area, two fields, a trim trail, a spacious playground, and a smaller playground dedicated to outdoor provision. At present, we have approximately 160 children in the school, which makes for a close-knit, supportive community.
As the Headteacher of Holywell Green Primary School, I am extremely proud and privileged to lead a team that is dedicated to providing the best possible education for our pupils. We work closely with our families to ensure that all pupils reach their full potential while becoming independent, successful, and confident learners. Our school values of respect, responsibility, and resilience are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to create a happy and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Background and Attendance
Both reviewers have a direct connection to the establishment, with Bryan Foster attending school there from a young age to leaving at 14 years old, and Lynsey Foster, most likely Bryan's family member, sharing a similar experience.
Opinions and Feedback
The two ratings are starkly contrasting, with Bryan giving a perfect 5-star review, while Lynsey awarded a dismal 1 star. Without explaining the specifics of their experiences, Bryan's glowing review suggests a positive and happy experience, whereas Lynsey's review is shrouded in disappointment and frustration.
Conclusion and Closures
Lynsey's heartfelt review expresses dismay and outrage at the sudden closure of the establishment, which they attribute to the failure of Al Steward to save it. The reviews collectively convey a sense of nostalgia and attachment to the school, with Bryan reflecting positively on their time there, while Lynsey's criticism serves as a scathing rebuke.
