L J Millington is a family-owned silversmiths business established in 1968, rooted in Birmingham's rich manufacturing heritage. Our team of eight highly skilled craftsmen and women bring over 200 years of combined experience to every project, blending traditional silversmithing techniques with contemporary design principles. In 2018, we acquired Kitney & Co, preserving their iconic range of sterling silver photo frames while maintaining the legacy of Birmingham Manufacturing Silversmiths' premium writing instruments and corporate gifts. Our comprehensive services span the entire production process, from initial concept development through spinning, polishing, silver plating, engine turning, and precision engraving. We specialise in creating bespoke commissions for corporate clients, working collaboratively to deliver custom-designed silverware that meets specific aesthetic and functional requirements. Our product portfolio includes christening gifts, tableware, drinksware, desk accessories, and sporting gifts, all crafted to exacting standards. While we honour time-honoured craftsmanship, our designs reflect modern tastes and practical needs. Every item in our collection undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure it meets both our own exacting standards and the expectations of discerning customers.
