Our Capabilities

We specialize in providing a comprehensive range of services, including 5 Axis Machining, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Assembly, and Quality and Inspection. Our state-of-the-art machinery, including the latest 5 axis machining technology, enables us to offer high-precision machined components for all industry sectors.

Our 5 Axis Machining capabilities, partnered with powerful Mastercam CAD/CAM software, enable us to provide consistent and reliable part programming. We work with a wide range of materials, including plastics, most mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium grades, making us well-suited for low and mid-volume production runs.

Our CNC Milling capacity includes DMG, Hardinge, and Cincinatti equipment, enabling us to complete projects on a fast turnaround whilst maintaining a first-class service. We specialize in CNC milling bespoke small batch size components with a fast and efficient turnaround time.

Our CNC Turning centres are suited for both low and high-volume production runs, working with a wide range of materials. We invest in the latest CNC turning machinery, including a Samsung SL 2500BSY sub-spindle 6-axis turning centre, ensuring quality management throughout the company.

Our Story

C&K Precision Engineers has developed an excellent reputation over 42 years for precision machined components & assemblies. With excellent staff retention records, our highly experienced & dedicated workforce offers the skills & services which are gradually becoming scarce in the UK.

Our brief company timeline is as follows:

  • 1969: Established as a partnership
  • 1984: Became a limited company
  • 1993: Gained quality accreditation BS5750
  • 2007: Extension to premises
  • 2007: Investment in 3rd Machining centre
  • 2008: Management buyout leaving sole ownership to 1 partner
  • 2008: Investment in the 3rd CNC lathe, with live tooling & bar feed
  • 2011: Installed another new CNC lathe with bar feed
  • 2014: Invested in 4th machining centre with 1-meter bed & Microloc Tooling
  • 2014: XYZ Proturn CNC Lathe (1m between centres)
  • 2014: Upgrade to CAD/CAM software
  • 2016: Moved premises
  • 2017: Purchased Hartford 4th Axis Mill & Samsung twin spindle Lathe with C & Y Axis
  • 2018: Networked all machines invested in Mastercam software
  • 2018: Invested DMG 5th Axis mill
  • 2019: Invested in German Lang Quick point Tooling
  • 2019: Invested in Keyence image measurement system
  • 2020: 800mmO x 2m capacity Lathe on order
  • 2021: Lifting jib installed to allow for 1 tonne lifting capacity
  • 2021: Ordered DMG Mori 5 Axis Machine, full simultaneous 5 axis capabilities
