Our nursery is situated in the heart of Tuckton, between Christchurch and Bournemouth, and we are open all year round, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We offer flexible sessions to accommodate the diverse needs of our families, and we are delighted to offer funded places for children aged 2+.
Our Facilities
At Kings Castle, we have designed our facilities to provide a stimulating and welcoming environment for our children. Our nursery is divided into three areas, each tailored to meet the unique needs of our children as they grow and develop. Our Highcliffe baby unit is designed for children from approximately 3 months to 2 years, and provides fully personalised care and an introduction to Montessori materials and activities. Our Christchurch toddler unit serves children from approximately 2 to 3 years, and provides the first steps to independence and an increased focus on Montessori materials and activities. Our Lulworth pre-school is designed for children from approximately 3 years to 5 years, and provides an all-round preparation for transition to primary school.
Our Curriculum
At Kings Castle, we follow the Montessori curriculum, which is designed to promote independence, concentration, and social skills in our children. Our experienced and qualified teachers work closely with each child to create an individual development plan, which is tailored to their needs and abilities. Our curriculum includes and embraces all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring that our children receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for primary school and beyond.
