Our History
Our story began with Alan Richard Smith, who started his career as an apprentice watch repairer. With hard work and determination, he went on to become a successful trade watch repairer and eventually opened his first bricks and mortar shop in Lutterworth in 1968. After spotting an empty barbershop in Blaby, he opened the original Blaby Jewellers in August 1971. Today, the shop is run by his son, Richard A. Smith, who continues to uphold the same values and commitment to quality and customer service.
