St Margarets Pre-school

St Margaret's Pre-school is a registered charity, located in the heart of Laceby, North East Lincolnshire. Established since 1983, we have been providing quality early years education and care for children aged 2 to under statutory school age. Our pre-school operates from within the local village church hall, and is run by a dedicated team of staff and a voluntary management committee, which consists of the parents of the children currently in setting.

At St Margaret's Pre-school, we are committed to creating a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children can build caring, warm and stimulating relationships with their peers and practitioners. We believe that each child is unique and we strive to provide a personalised approach to learning and development, which takes into account each child's individual needs, interests, and stage of development.

Our Services

We are registered to receive Early Years Payments for 2, 3 and 4 year olds, and we offer funded children flexible hours during the week. Our sessions are designed to support children's learning and development, and we offer a range of activities and experiences that are tailored to meet the needs of each child.

Our session times are as follows:

• Morning session times, Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm
• Afternoon session times, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 12pm - 3pm
• Closed Wednesday afternoon

We offer flexible hours during the nine sessions and four lunch breaks. Our fees are charged at 18.00 per session for 3 and 4 year olds and 20.00 per session for 2 year olds.

At St Margaret's Pre-school, we recognise that every child is unique and has their own individual learning style. That's why we allocate a Key Worker to each child, who will make themselves known before your child starts at pre-school. The Key Worker will work closely with you and your child to ensure that they settle in smoothly and make progress in all areas of learning.

Inclusivity and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At St Margaret's Pre-school, we believe that all children have the right to access high-quality early years education and care, regardless of their abilities or needs. We provide an inclusive environment in which all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, can thrive. Our SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator) works closely with children, families, and external agencies to ensure that children with SEND receive the support they need to reach their full potential.

We regularly engage in professional development opportunities to ensure that we are up-to-date with the latest research, best practice, and policies in early years education and care.

The Management Committee

St Margaret's Pre-school is a charity organisation, and without our Committee, our Pre-School could not exist. As well as supporting the management of the Pre-School, an essential role of the Committee is fundraising. All funds raised are used within the group for equipment, toys, and general running costs. Your support and help at any of our events is greatly appreciated and strongly encouraged!
