Since establishing Eclipse Electrical Kenilworth in 2011, Richard Cripps and our team have provided electrical services across Kenilworth and the surrounding Warwickshire area. With around 25 years of experience in the trade, we undertake domestic and light commercial work covering everything from individual electrical upgrades to complete rewires. Our services also include EV charger installations, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs and smart home systems. We work across older homes, family properties, renovation projects, extensions and modern developments, adapting the planning to the requirements of each installation. Understanding the property and the customer's expectations comes first, allowing us to explain options clearly and offer practical advice. We then carry out the work with careful attention to safety, materials, sequencing and final testing. As an NICEIC Approved Contractor, we ensure that work is tested and certificated in line with current regulations.
A well-managed service remains central to everything we do. We provide organised quotations and scheduling, communicate with customers throughout the job and keep them informed until the final checks and certification have been completed. Our small team remains consistent, with experienced electricians maintaining the standards expected across every project. This approach is particularly valuable when renovation or larger electrical works need to be carefully sequenced. We also make a point of respecting customers' homes by protecting rooms and leaving them clean. Repeat business, recommendations and more than 200 five-star reviews demonstrate the reputation we have built locally. We cover Kenilworth, Warwick, Leamington Spa and surrounding Warwickshire villages and areas, depending on the type and size of the project.

For renovation and extension projects, we deliver domestic electrical installations that are structured around the wider building programme. First fix and second fix works are completed safely, covering areas such as lighting, sockets, kitchen electrics, extension wiring and consumer unit upgrades. We also undertake testing and provide relevant certification upon completion.
We manage fuse box replacements from the initial enquiry through inspection, quotation, installation, testing and certification. The existing installation is assessed so that the proposed consumer unit and safety measures are suitable for the property. We keep disruption within the home to a minimum while carrying out the work carefully. Final testing and certification complete the installation safely.
We install EV charging systems to suit the individual requirements of each property and vehicle. Our process begins by reviewing the electrical supply, intended charger location and practical cable route before preparing a quotation. Installation is carried out safely and tested in accordance with regulations. Final checks, certification and charger setup assistance are provided as part of the service.
Our full and partial rewiring service is designed for older homes requiring safer, more dependable electrical systems. We assess the existing installation before recommending suitable work, whether prompted by renovation, electrical faults or inspection findings. Rewires can include new circuits, socket and lighting replacements, consumer unit upgrades, earthing improvements, testing and certification.
We manage each EICR inspection from the initial enquiry through to certification and recommendations. Before arranging an appointment, we discuss the property type, occupancy and inspection requirements. The installation is then inspected and tested thoroughly, with findings reviewed and coded according to current regulations. On completion, we provide the EICR certificate together with clear recommendations where required.
