Amberwood Nursing Home

Amberwood Nursing Home is a welcoming and comfortable residence that has been providing high-quality care to its residents for over 30 years. Located in Exmouth, Devon, the home is within walking distance of the river Exe estuary and Exmouth town centre.

Facilities

Amberwood Nursing Home has a warm and friendly atmosphere, with extensive grounds and a private garden for residents to enjoy. The home has a range of facilities, including wheelchair-accessible bedrooms, call bells, and en-suite bathrooms. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. Residents are encouraged to make their bedrooms their own, with many decorating and furnishing their rooms to their liking.

At Amberwood Nursing Home, we provide 24-hour care by qualified nurses, supervised by our experienced Manager. Our nurses are supported by a team of trained Care Assistants, who have completed the Health and Social Care Diploma. We work closely with members of the primary healthcare team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

Catering

Our catering team offers a wide range of delicious and nutritious meals, tailored to individual tastes and dietary needs. Meals can be taken in the sitting room, dining room, or in the resident's own room. We also offer tea, coffee, and snacks throughout the day.

Activities

Our activities program is designed to engage and entertain our residents, with a range of activities based on individual interests. From arts and crafts to cooking and quizzes, we have something for everyone. Our activities team work closely with residents to understand their interests and tailor our programs accordingly.
