Our Services

Our services include equine reproduction, diagnostics, surgery, routine equine health care, and therapeutics. Our team of experienced vets use the latest technology and equipment to provide the highest standard of care, ensuring that your horse receives the best possible treatment.
Our therapeutics services include shockwave therapy, laser ablation of uterine cysts, sarcoid removal, acupuncture, and other alternative therapies. We also offer a range of supplements and products to support your horse's health and wellbeing.
Our diagnostics services include wireless, battery-powered digital radiography and digital ultrasonography equipment, which is fully portable for use at your yard. We also have an in-house laboratory, allowing us to provide quick and accurate test results.
Our surgery services include routine surgeries such as castrations and banding of hernias, which can be done at your yard, as well as more involved procedures such as keratoma removals and enucleations, which are performed at one of our treatment centres.
Our routine equine health care services include castrations, group dental prices, and free worm egg count kits. We also offer health checks, vaccinations, and dental care to ensure your horse remains healthy and thriving.

Disappointing Experience
There were two reviewers who had a dreadful experience with Stringer Vets Exeter. One reviewer, Craig Cheverall, stated that the vets used "rude bully tactics" while driving swerving all over the motorway, serving as great advertising for the company. Ryan Havinga's experience was even more distressing, as the vets trespassed on his property at 11pm, illegally euthanized a horse that was under court order, and left the body lying in the field, causing distress to the other horses.
Excellent Care and Service
On the other hand, Lucy Owen and S. Watson had a altogether different experience with the practice. Lucy Owen praised the vets for their brilliant care, as they helped her horse recover from a tendon sheath injury. S. Watson credited the practice with saving her horse's life, praising Richard Stringer's thoroughness, kindness, and effectiveness. Phoebe, another vet, was also commended for her excellent service.
