Our Accommodation

We offer a range of accommodations to suit your needs, from cozy single bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms to our luxurious Kingfisher Suite, complete with its own entrance, kitchen/dining area, bedroom, and bathroom. All of our rooms are sympathetically furnished to retain the character and charm of the original 17th-century building.

Breakfast and Dining

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, featuring a selection of grapefruit, cereals, toast, and local preserves. We cater to special dietary needs, so please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any specific requirements.

Local Area and Activities

Our location in the picturesque village of Grassington offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, including gentle strolls along the River Wharfe, more strenuous hill walks, and exploring the quaint cobbled streets and craft fairs. We can also arrange pony trekking, fly fishing, and bike hire for you. Take a short drive to explore the neighboring dales and towns, including historic York, Fountains Abbey, Haworth, and Harrogate.

Tariff and Terms

We offer competitive rates for our accommodations, with discounts available for longer stays. A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking, which is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Please note that we have a no-smoking policy throughout the house.

The farmhouse, dating back to around 400 years, offers a rustic atmosphere with features like massive Yorkshire flagstone staircase and old-fashioned windows. The hosts, Robin and Beryl, are friendly, well-informed, and helpful in providing information about local walks and excursions.

Location and Accessibility

The location is excellent, right on the riverside, with easy access to Linton falls and the centre of Grassington. The guest house is within walking distance to various attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

Rooms and Facilities

The single room, although small, has an en-suite toilet, but it's quite cramped. The room is decorated with character and has old-fashioned charm. However, some guests might find the room and toilet facilities too small. The Kingfisher suite, on the other hand, is highly praised by guests.
