Templeman Opticians - Laindon has been a trusted and reliable provider of eyecare services in the local community for over 40 years. Our practice, located in Laindon, Essex, is known for its professional and comfortable environment, making it an ideal place for eye examinations and selecting eyewear. Our wide range of designer brands, such as RayBan, Oakley, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Micheal Kors, along with our Zeiss Lens Specialist certification, ensures that our customers have access to the most sought-after optical products. As an independent practice, we have the flexibility to offer lenses from other reputable brands as well.

Our practice is currently based in a temporary location within the old Laindon Shopping Centre car park, now known as Danacre, but we eagerly await the completion of Laindon Place to start our new chapter. Our current location is easily accessible for disabled and wheelchair-bound people, ensuring that all of our customers have a positive experience at our practice.

Our innovative technology includes digital retinal photography, which allows us to store digital images of the back of the eye - the retina. This technology, along with our skilled and experienced team, ensures that we can provide comprehensive eyecare services to our customers.

Principal Optometrist: Reshma Patel BSc(Hons) PgDip

Reshma Patel, our Principal Optometrist, qualified in September 2001 following 3 years at City University studying Optometry and 1 year Pre-Registration training. Reshma has also completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Optometry at City University in April 2012. She has held a post at Orsett Hospital as a Paediatric Optometrist and has been shortlisted twice in the Optician Awards for Optometrist of the Year in recognition for her role in the community and optometry. At Templeman Opticians - Laindon, Reshma works alongside a friendly and experienced team who are always on hand to provide the best advice for your eyecare needs.
