Relax, Unwind and Enjoy the Beauty of Nature

Garth is a tranquil caravan and cabin site, designed for those seeking a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled on the outskirts of Machynlleth and on the edge of the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park, Garth provides an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of Wales.

Location and Attractions

At Garth, you are never far from something exciting to see or do. The Snowdonia National Park offers a plethora of activities, and our very own riverbank on the river Dyfi provides fishing rights for our guests. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at Machynlleth Golf Club, a mere 10-minute walk away or the charming Aberdovey Golf Club, just a 20-minute drive.

The nearby Machynlleth Train Station, a 15-minute stroll, allows you to leave your car behind and explore the charming town's antique and craft shops, leading supermarkets, and historic buildings. For a relaxing drink or meal, there are several pubs within walking distance of the park.

Facilities

Health and safety are paramount at Garth. We are proud to have two defibrillators located on the park and provide super-fast 350Mb Wi-Fi connection.

Our site is renowned for its natural beauty and emphasis on preserving the environment. Guests are treated to a variety of birdlife, small animals, and plants throughout the park. While we do not offer site clubs or shops on-site, we take pride in our peaceful, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere, making us a perfect choice for those looking for tranquility.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Electric vehicle owners will be pleased to know that Garth has its very own charging point. The charger is available for all caravan and cabin owners, as well as local residents, to top up their vehicles' batteries.

We are thrilled to have won the prestigious DAVID BELLAMY GOLD AWARD every year since 1997, recognizing our commitment to preserving the environment.
