Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced and dedicated professionals, many of whom have been with us for over 20 years. We have a high staff retention rate, reflecting our commitment to investing in our staff's ongoing training and development. Our team includes:

• Heather: Nursery Manager, with over 20 years of experience in early years education. Heather leads by example, with a deep understanding of child development and a passion for providing exceptional care and education.
• Helen: Deputy Manager and Pre-School Lead Practitioner. Helen holds a foundation degree in early years and is our Safeguard Lead, ensuring the highest standards of child safeguarding and welfare.
• Marie: Quality Control Lead and SENCO. Marie works across all rooms, auditing our day-to-day practice and paperwork, ensuring the children's planning and assessment meet the highest standards.
• Teresa: Lead Practitioner - Under 2's. Teresa has a calming nature, making it easy for our youngest children to settle in and thrive. She is also an excellent communicator, reassuring new parents and making them feel welcome and supported.

Services

At Sunflowers, we offer a range of services designed to support children's learning and development. These include:

• Early Years Foundation Stage: Our EYFS curriculum focuses on promoting children's curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
• SEN provision: We provide support for children with special educational needs, working closely with parents and professionals to ensure each child's unique needs are met.
• Befriending: We offer a befriending service for children who may need additional support or friendship.

About Our Setting

Our nursery is situated in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, and offers excellent facilities and resources. We are open Monday to Friday, from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm.
