Our talented team of experienced stylists create fabulous cut and color work using the best quality products in a friendly and professional salon in Cherry Hinton. We specialize in precision coloring, and with over 200 shades of Wella color to choose from, we give you the color, texture, and condition you've always wanted.
In addition to our hair services, we also offer a range of beauty treatments in our beauty room, including manicures, facials, massages, and waxing. Our beauty therapist, Amy, has over 18 years of experience in the beauty industry and provides a great service combined with the best vegan-friendly product lines.
Our Team
Our team is headed by Eddie Kerr, the managing director of the company, with over 30 years of experience in the hairdressing trade. We have top stylists who can color, cut, style, and movement - you name it, we're experts at it. But what's more important is that we understand you and what you want. Understanding people is the beating heart of our business, and that's why we have clients who have come back for 20 years plus.
Our Story
Founded by Philip Muir in 1980 as Philip Muir Haircutters, Eddie Kerr joined in 1988, and in 1991 Muir and Kerr was formed. Philip retired in 2014, and Eddie now runs the business independently. Keeping the business fresh while providing the best service for clients, Muir and Kerr has adopted a new business format for 2022. As well as consolidating the business into one salon - merging our Milton Road business into our Cherry Hinton salon - Muir and Kerr has also become a creative collective.
