At Claremont Park Nursing Home, we take pride in providing exceptional care and services to our residents. Our mission is to ensure that our residents come first under all circumstances, and we strive to afford comfort, excellent care, dignity, good food, and a high quality of life. Our home is an attractive Georgian house with a purpose-built extension housing modern rooms with en-suite facilities, extensively renovated and re-fitted to comply with and exceed today's most stringent regulations governing private nursing homes.
Our Philosophy of Care
We believe that people have the right to participate in making choices about their care, are entitled to protection of their rights as individuals, deserve a comfortable and stimulating environment, are entitled to high-quality care, have the right to retain and develop interests and social contact, and are entitled to a homely environment. Our registered nursing staff and carers are on duty 24 hours a day to assist with all the activities of living. We also have a dedicated catering and housekeeping team in attendance daily.
Our Services
Our activities organisers work to provide a person-centred service to ensure that there are plenty of activities to choose from. We organise entertainers to visit the home, and there are lots of outings to local areas of interest. We also understand that sometimes you may wish to spend some quiet time in your bedroom, for those who like to read, the local library visits with a range of large print books to choose from. Our garden is mature, green, and secluded, so that residents and their families and friends can enjoy some privacy in a peaceful setting.
Facilities and Amenities
Our home boasts a range of modern facilities and amenities, including en-suite rooms, a secluded mature garden, and a dedicated catering and housekeeping team. We also have a hairdresser who attends weekly to carry out hairdressing needs for our residents. Our home is located on the corner of Claremont Road and Claremont Park, Edinburgh, looking out across Leith Links towards the sea.

We encourage families to participate in the care of your loved one, and we understand that sometimes you may wish to take your loved one out for a little while or sometimes the whole day. Staff Performance and Management
The reviews highlight varying aspects of the care home's staff and management. On the positive side, Matthew Morpheus, a staff member, praises the team's wonderful nature and high standards of service. However, there are concerns regarding management, particularly with regards to Manager Ellen's rudeness and Manager Hellen's appalling attitude, as expressed by Adelle Donoghue and Daniele C., respectively. This indicates a mixed experience with staff and management.
