Located in the heart of north Cumbria, on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park, Red Hall Farm Holiday Cottages offers a unique opportunity to stay on a real working farm. Our two beautiful barn conversion cottages, The Old Bothy and The Old Grainstore, have been lovingly restored from a 200-year-old barn and retain many of their original features, including exposed brickwork, original oak beams, and high ceilings.
Our Cottages
The Old Bothy sleeps up to 4 people, with 1 king-sized bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. Prices start from 328 per week. Short breaks are available. The Old Grainstore sleeps up to 6 people, with 1 king-sized bedroom, 1 double bedroom, and 1 twin bedroom. Prices start from 408 per week. Both cottages can be rented together to accommodate a group of 10 people.
Staying on a Working Farm
Immerse yourself in farm life and experience the sights, sounds, and smells of a working farm. Our farm is an award-winning 'Farming for Wildlife' award winner, and our farm consists of 200 acres of farmland and woodland. Take a leisurely stroll around the farm, enjoy the fresh air, and spot the many birds and animals that call our farm home.

We cater specifically to families with babies and toddlers. We have a range of items available to make your holiday stress-free, including high chairs, travel cots, outdoor toys, and more. Our cottages are also designed with children in mind, with age-appropriate toys and games available.
