Company History and Mission
Our story began in 1988 when Barry left school and secured employment at Vanguard Cycles, a local shop run by Terry Dagnall. Barry's experience and passion for cycling led him to master the skills necessary to service and repair a wide range of bikes. He continued to work in the bicycle industry, eventually pursuing an advanced City and Guilds course in 2014. Today, Barry's Mobile Bicycle Maintenance is a member of the Association of Cycle Traders Act Smart Group and the Knowsley Chamber of Commerce.
Our Partnership with MerseyCycle CIC
From March 2024, we will be working closely with MerseyCycle CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to promoting cycling and sustainability. Our partnership will enable us to expand our services and reach a wider audience. We will be based at MerseyCycle's Court Hey Park base, open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm, and Saturday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm.
