Our Story
Twenty years ago, Michael Heathcote, our owner and head chef, had a vision of creating a pub that served exceptionally good food with a focus on local produce and a keen attention to detail. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to perfect our culinary excellence, and today, we are proud to have been named in the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list in 2021.
Accommodation
Our en-suite rooms are individually designed to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation. Choose from our five superior double rooms or two standard double rooms, each equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. For the business visitor to the Ribble Valley, our midweek single occupancy rate is competitive, and we also offer the option to add a Z-bed to the room for an extra 20 per night.
Food and Drink
We take great pride in producing the best "home-cooked" and freshly prepared food, using local ingredients wherever possible. Our menu is varied and regularly updated, with new specials added weekly.
