Experience the spirit of Moroccan hospitality in the heart of Windsor at Al Fassia Restaurant. Our story began in 1987 when our uncle Mohammed Chab founded the first Al Fassia in Marrakech. Ten years later, our father Mustapha Chab brought his recipes and vision to the UK, and we have been sharing the warmth and soul of our restaurant with diners ever since. At Al Fassia, you will enjoy an unparalleled dining experience that is deeply rooted in Moroccan tradition.

Our Heritage

Mustapha Chab, our father and the founder of Al Fassia in Windsor, left Morocco for Britain in 1976. He recognised the potential of Moroccan cuisine and hospitality on an international stage and opened the doors of Al Fassia to the people of Windsor in September 1996. Sadly, Mustapha passed away in early 2017, but his legacy lives on through his children - Mahdi, Mouna, Sophia, and Amina.

Mouna Chab, our co-owner, manages the restaurant with her siblings and remains committed to the vision that her father and her late mother, Amina, established. Our head cook, Mina, has been with us for 25 years and has an unrivaled knowledge and appreciation of Moroccan cuisine. She ensures that every dish is a testament to the simplicity and subtlety of Moroccan cooking traditions.

Our Team

Lhoussaine El Yousfi, our Restaurant Manager, has been with us for over five years and ensures that every customer feels welcome from the moment they arrive. Hicham Bladi, our Head Waiter, is another long-serving member of our team known for his professionalism and friendly attitude. Together, our team embodies the warm and welcoming spirit of Moroccan hospitality.

Our Menu

At Al Fassia, we serve food that is steeped in the culinary traditions of Morocco's historical cities. Our recipes are simple and unpretentious, relying on the delicate balance of flavors that come from the unique combination of herbs and spices used in Moroccan cooking. Our menu includes a selection of starters, traditional tagines, fish specialties, and vegetarian dishes, all made using high-quality ingredients.

Our starters feature a selection of briwat, a traditional Moroccan pastry filled with a variety of savory fillings. We also offer a selection of traditional Moroccan salads made using fresh vegetables served with homemade vinaigrette. Our tagines are cooked using traditional methods and are served with either couscous or rice. Our fish specialties are a testament to Morocco's rich coastal heritage and are gently cooked with a delicate balance of spices.

In addition to our regular menu, we offer a selection of special dishes that are prepared using traditional Moroccan methods and serve them in our Amina Lounge.

At Al Fassia, we strive to provide our customers with an authentic Moroccan dining experience, and we are proud to have been serving the people of Windsor for over 25 years.
