Our History
The family business began in 1969 when Malcolm and Margaret Stewart purchased their first rigid tipping vehicle, driven by Malcolm as an owner driver delivering materials to Ready Mixed Concrete plants in the North West area. Over the years, Malcolm and Margaret expanded their fleet, delivering thousands of tonnes of materials to various RMC plants. Ready Mixed Concrete, the leading producer of concrete in the UK, was for many years our biggest customer. In the early 1990s, their daughter Rachel joined the company, broadening its horizons and expanding its customer base, developing product knowledge, and sourcing a wide variety of materials nationwide.
