Growing Together: Where Every Child Matters

At St Bede C of E Primary School, we take pride in providing an excellent education for our pupils within a caring, inclusive, stimulating, and motivating learning environment. As a Church of England school, our ethos is deeply rooted in Christian values that underpin all areas of school life. Our dedicated staff, governors, and parents work together in close partnership to achieve our aim, with added support from the Diocese of Winchester and the local parish churches of St. Bartholomew's and Holy Trinity.

Our Vision and Values

Our vision is to nurture and inspire our pupils to grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals who are equipped to make a positive impact in the world. We strive to create a sense of community and belonging among our pupils, staff, and parents, where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. Our values of individual liberty, tolerance of different faiths and beliefs, democracy, mutual respect, and the rule of law are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services and activities to support our pupils' educational, social, and emotional development. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, challenging, and inclusive, with a strong focus on English, maths, science, and RE. We also provide a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, and art, to help our pupils develop their talents and interests. Our experienced teachers and support staff work closely with our pupils to identify their individual needs and provide targeted support to help them achieve their full potential.

In addition to our academic curriculum, we offer a range of services to support our pupils' well-being and personal development. Our pastoral care system is designed to provide emotional support, guidance, and counseling to our pupils, and we work closely with parents and external agencies to provide additional support when needed. We also offer a range of programs and initiatives to promote physical and mental health, including our Kindness Ambassadors, Eco Group, and St. Bede Travel to School Project.

Our Community

We believe that our school is at the heart of our community, and we strive to build strong relationships with our parents, carers, and local partners. We offer a range of services and activities to support our parents and carers, including our Home School Association, online safety support, and mental health resources. We also work closely with local businesses, charities, and organizations to provide opportunities for our pupils to engage with their community and develop their social and emotional skills.
