Our Services
At The Stage Factory, we offer a variety of dance and theatre classes for children and an adult tap class. Our classes cater to all abilities and needs, from the "once a week" child to those dreaming of a dance career. We provide professional dance and theatre training in a fun, friendly, but disciplined environment. Our classes help build a child's confidence, as well as improving performance skills, musicality, co-ordination, flexibility, and fitness. We instill strong teamwork values and sportsmanship as well as encouraging pupils to shine individually.
Our Classes
We offer a range of classes, including:
- Stage Tots: The perfect introduction to the world of dance and theatre for children aged 3 to 5
- Acro Dance: A fusion of dance and acrobatics, where pupils learn to safely perform tricks
- Street Dance: An umbrella term for several dance styles, including commercial and hip-hop
- Musical Theatre: A combination of dancing and singing, where children learn repertoire from various musicals and popular music
- Modern: Rhythmic dance style which is highly energetic and forms the basic technique for jazz, commercial, and theatrical dance
- Tap: We are well known as one of the best tap schools in the region, with up-to-date, original choreography adding a new dimension to this dance style
- Ballet: The basic form of technique for all other dance styles, improving strength, posture, co-ordination, and musicality
Our Achievements
We have gained a strong reputation for producing "slick", "entertaining", and "professional" annual shows at the Theatre Royal, St Helens. We also offer examinations in ballet, tap, and modern with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) and have a 100% pass rate. Our pupils have performed at prestigious events, including the Royal Albert Hall and the M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool. We are proud of our achievements and strive to continue providing exceptional dance training to our students.
