Negative Feedback
Martin J. Durkan, however, had a disappointing experience. He bought a newly-built Hitchambury house in 2007 but found the company to be unresponsive to issues outside the NHBC warranty period. Despite the damage caused by shoddy workmanship, Hitchambury refused to take responsibility. Martin also experienced a boiler breakdown shortly after moving in, but the company offered little compensation for the inconvenience.
