Our Story
Our nursery is situated in the heart of Knutsford, within walking distance to the town centre, train station, library, Tatton Park, and local shops and schools. Our building dates back to 1904 and was originally commissioned by Andrew Carnegie, a Scottish American philanthropist who believed in improving conditions for all people in all walks of life. We have adapted this philosophy to the 21st century, ensuring that our nursery provides a stimulating environment for children to thrive.
Our Team
We take pride in having a low staff turnover, which enables us to maintain consistency and develop strong bonds between our staff and the children. All of our staff regularly attend training sessions to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and best practices. Our staff also hold a paediatric first aid certificate, giving parents peace of mind that their children are in capable hands.
Our Rooms
We have three rooms catering to different age groups and needs: The Baby Learners, The Little Learners, and The Rising Fives. Each room is designed to provide a secure, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development through play and discovery.
Baby Learners (0-17 months)
Our baby room staff encourage children to learn and develop at their own pace. We provide a spacious and well-equipped environment with soft play gym equipment for physical development.
Little Learners (17 months-3 years)
At this age, children are naturally inquisitive and eager to participate in new and exciting activities. We provide the right amount of resources and learning activities to allow children to learn through play and discovery.
Rising Fives (3-5 years)
Our pre-school room staff are committed to meeting the individual needs of each child while working towards extending their capabilities. We provide a secure, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development through play and discovery.
