Our Opticians
At Dolores Marshall Opticians, all our opticians are professionally qualified and registered with the General Optical Council (GOC). Our optometrists are also registered with the Association of Optometrists (AOP) and the College of Optometrists. Our dispensing opticians are registered with the Association Of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO). All of our opticians participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), a requirement of the GOC, to keep up-to-date with current regulations, products, and treatments.

Dolores Marshall - OPTICIAN & OWNER
Dolores established the practice in 2002 with the aim of providing a high-quality personalised eye-care service. She has over 30 years of experience, mainly in independent practice, and is passionate about keeping up-to-date with new developments in optometry.
Amy Dalton - FBDO DISPENSING OPTICIAN
Amy has worked in optics since 1996 and has been working at our practice since it opened in October 2002. She is responsible for dealing with representatives from frame and lens companies, ensuring that we are stocked with the latest styles and best quality frames.
Donna Gordon - DISPENSING OPTICIAN
Donna joined us initially in 2009 and became a permanent member of staff in 2012. She is passionate about dispensing the best fitting frame and advising on the best individual lenses for the patient. She also has expertise in fiddly repairs.
Kirsty Pearson - RECEPTIONIST
Kirsty started working here in June 2014, bringing efficient administrative skills and computer knowledge to keep the practice running smoothly. She has recently gained an Optical Assistant qualification, enabling her to help patients when choosing spectacles and carrying out small repairs to frames.
