Seaside Care Homes Ltd, formerly known as Children's Respite Care Ltd, was founded in 2008 and has since become a renowned provider of exceptional residential care for young people with complex care needs. Our pioneering, flexible, and emulated service is designed to meet the unique needs of each individual young person and their family.
Our Philosophy
At Seaside Care Homes, we believe that young people with special educational needs and disability deserve care and service provision designed and provided specifically for their age group. We strive to provide a service that accords young people equal rights and opportunities, ensuring they are not disadvantaged. We aim to provide a stimulating, creative, and varied environment that promotes individual development, maximizes quality of life, and enhances independence.
Our Team
Our multi-skilled team provides exceptionally high-quality residential care for young people. Our team is led by Director Amanda Owen, a registered general nurse and sick children nurse with extensive experience in children's healthcare. Georgina Decata, our registered manager, joined Seaside Care Homes in 2021, having completed her Levels 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care and Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care & Children & Young People's Services.
Our Home
Driftwood Lodge, opened in 2017, is registered with the Care Quality Commission and has been designed to provide a homely environment for up to 5 young people at any one time. We specialize in providing step-down services between hospital and home as well as long-term residential placements for young people with complex care needs.
