RH & AJ Bateman Ltd is a small family-run business based on the outskirts of Bruton, Somerset. Our Services
As a Somerset based aggregate, sand and gravel merchandising company, we offer a wide range of services, including bulk haulage, bagging, and animal feed deliveries. We are TASSC registered and have achieved a FORS Silver 006836 accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to safety, fuel efficiency, economical operations, and vehicle emissions. Our fleet comprises of 6 wheeler, 8 wheeler rigid bulk, artic tippers, bulk tippers, bulk blowers, and rolling floor trailers, enabling us to cater to a diverse range of customer needs.
We specialise in supplying the needs of farmers with cattle bedding sand and animal feed. Our quarried materials include limestone and basalt, agricultural dust, scalping's, various types of topsoil, and oolitic scalping's. We also supply recycled materials such as 6F5 and 75mm crusher run, as well as equestrian materials like silica sand and arena top surface.
RH & AJ Bateman supply building contractors, merchants, and the public with a variety of materials from building sands to decorative gravels. Most materials are available to collect loose from the yard and are also available in dumpy bags and 25kg bags. Our lorries are available for haulage only, providing a flexible and convenient solution for our customers.

Animal Feed/Bulk Blower Haulage/Animal Bulk Feed Transport
RH & AJ Bateman LTD have recently taken over the transporting of animal feeds from J H Rose & Son, specialising in the transporting of animal feeds. We also transport other products in accordance with food/feed legislation within the TASCC. We can collect direct from the mills to the customer's desired location, including grain, corn, malt, and barley. Our animal feed bulk blower haulage and animal bulk feed transport services ensure the safe and efficient transportation of your animal feed.
Quality of Service
