Our founder, a highly skilled piano tuner, has been serving the community for over 35 years, providing exceptional tuning services for pianos of all makes and ages. Piano Tuning

Piano tuning is at the heart of our business, and we recommend having your piano tuned twice a year to maintain its optimal performance. However, we understand that every piano and situation is unique. Concert halls and public venues may require more frequent tuning, while pianos in homes where they are played infrequently might need tuning less often. Weather conditions can also affect tuning, which is why we offer tune-up reminders to help you keep track.

Our standard tuning appointment lasts approximately one hour and is scheduled within a half-hour timeframe. We kindly request that you inform us of any suspected issues or repair needs during the appointment booking process, so we can allocate additional time if necessary. We strive to provide flexible appointment options, including occasional evenings and weekends, to accommodate your schedule.

The fee for an initial fine tuning starts at 125.00, with subsequent fine tunings starting at 90.00. Please note that we are not VAT registered.

Piano Repairs

Our piano repair service is designed to help you restore and maintain your piano's original beauty and functionality. Whether you have a broken piano string or require a comprehensive rebuild, our impartial and experienced technicians are here to provide high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. Our repair rates are set at 100.00 per hour, plus the cost of materials.

Before conducting any repairs, we will provide a quote to ensure transparency and avoid unnecessary costs. For smaller repairs, quotes are not required, but we will discuss the necessary work and associated costs with you on the day.

Navigating the world of piano sales can be challenging. In our piano buying guide, we provide fundamental advice on what to look for when buying or selling a piano. We highly recommend consulting an experienced piano technician before making a purchase or selling an instrument. Our founder is delighted to offer this service along with any necessary inspections or evaluations.

When buying a piano, pay particular attention to the frame material (iron frames generally hold tuning better), age (older wooden-framed pianos may not be designed for modern concert pitch), and overall condition.
