Who We Are

Run by a dedicated board of volunteers, Harrogate Spa Tennis Centre is a charity. Our primary objective is to promote community participation in tennis, making the sport accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We reinvest any surplus funds back into the club, ensuring continuous improvement and sustainability.

Our Facilities and Activities

We proudly offer:

• Six floodlit artificial grass courts and three porous macadam courts for diverse playing styles.
• Two indoor covered padel courts, allowing year-round play regardless of the weather.
• A spacious and inviting pavilion housing a comfortable cafe and spectator seating.
• Comprehensive coaching programs for all ages and skill levels, led by highly qualified LTA-accredited coaches.
• Regular competitions and leagues for those who desire a competitive edge.
• Junior camps and classes to nurture the next generation of tennis players.

Our History and Vision

From humble beginnings in 1947, we have evolved into a thriving hub for tennis enthusiasts. Our relocation to Claro Park in 2015 opened up new possibilities, with the addition of six new courts and a charming pavilion. Our continued vision is to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can discover the joy of tennis.
