Danmor Lodge

Danmor Lodge is a residential care home located in Weymouth, Dorset, that provides a warm and welcoming environment for its residents. Our home is tastefully appointed and has recently been refurbished to provide dedicated care for 25 residents. We understand how important it is for both residents and their loved ones to receive visits, and we encourage socializing and communal activities while respecting the privacy and independence of our residents.

Our Services

At Danmor Lodge, we offer a range of services to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents. Our accommodation consists of comfortable bedrooms, all equipped with en-suite facilities, TV and telephone points, and dedicated Nurse Call systems for added peace of mind. We have two spacious lounges where residents can socialize and enjoy each other's company, and we provide day care facilities for non-residents.

Our meals are carefully prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and we cater to special diets and individual tastes. Our garden is lovingly tended by our staff, and residents are encouraged to participate in gardening activities. We arrange regular entertainment and activities, both in-house and through trips out, to keep our residents engaged and active.

Our Staff

Our staff are dedicated and trained professionals who are on call 24 hours a day. We encourage our employees to maintain their care training, and most of our staff hold or are working towards a recognized NVQ qualification. We prioritize the respect, dignity, and independence of our residents, and we strive to provide a truly personal service.

Our Location

Danmor Lodge is situated in a beautiful location, close to the stunning Weymouth coastline. Weymouth itself is a popular seaside town with an attractive harbour and plenty of visitor attractions. The town is situated on the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, and is close to the Olympic sailing venue of Portland Harbour. Weymouth Bay is an idyllic sheltered bay with glorious sandy beaches, perfect for water sports enthusiasts.
