Our History
The Old Rectory Nursing Home is a private and individually owned care home that was first established in 1985 as a family business. The building, a beautifully converted Georgian home, has undergone extensive alterations and adaptations over the years to increase its capacity and ensure that residents continually receive the best experience possible. The home is set away from the road and is fronted by a well-maintained garden, providing a peaceful and serene environment for our residents.

Our accommodation is designed to meet the special requirements of our residents, with rooms available on either the first or ground floors of the building, some of which have en-suite facilities. Our staff are committed to the continuing education and training, encouraging the development of new skills and adoption of modern practices. We provide training to cover the most recent requirements and techniques, including Moving and Handling, COSHH, Basic Food Hygiene, Fire Awareness, Health and Safety, and First Aid. Our staff are motivated and caring, and are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to our residents.
