Our Team

Our senior management team consists of experienced professionals with a background in compliance and recruitment. David Symes, our founder, qualified as an accountant with a City firm and later moved to Credit Agricole in Audit. He was part of the team that set up the first Compliance Department at the Guardian Royal Exchange, a FTSE 100 Insurance Group, now part of AXA. David has since worked as a fund management compliance consultant, assisting various UK organisations on compliance issues. He is a respected speaker and writer on compliance, having spoken at UK and international conferences and written technical articles on the subject.

Gary Collins, our co-founder, served in the military before joining Ernst and Young (now EY), where he managed the team looking after audit and compliance for regulated funds. He later worked at Deutsche Bank in their Asset Management division, covering compliance and risk for the UK and offshore. Gary has successfully filled roles for clients in the UK and globally, covering a range of compliance, financial crime, and risk positions.
