We offer a complete range of print services, from design and proofing through to mailing and delivery. We work closely with our clients to ensure they receive the exact service and product they require. Our services include:

Prepress and Proofing

Our pre-press and proofing technology is second to none. We use Agfa Apogee X system and Agfa web approval to process your work quickly and efficiently. We also offer an in-house proof-reading service as an additional support in your design proofing stage.

Press

We are an all-Heidelberg house, renowned for the quality and reliability of their presses. Our three B1 Heidelberg Perfecting presses work 24 hours a day to ensure our customers' work is produced quickly and efficiently to a fantastic standard.

Finishing

We have an excellent range of in-house equipment which gives us control over the finishing process. Services available include saddle stitching, perfect binding and special finishes such as lamination and UV coating.

Mailing and Dispatch

All work is dispatched using the most efficient and cost-effective method. Our daily delivery service covering the south of England ensures that our customers receive their work quickly and efficiently. Our automated polywrap and insertion line enables the quick and efficient preparation of mail for collection by the Royal Mail or other carriers.

Our Environmental Commitment

At Holbrooks Printers Ltd, we have been committed to minimising our environmental impact for many years. We are ISO 14001 accredited, meaning that we are constantly striving to minimise our environmental impact. We only source paper from fully sustainable forests and other controlled sources and are also FSC Certified.

In 2015, we invested in 176 photovoltaic solar panels for the roof of our building, which generates a massive 45Kw of power during the sunnier months - a large proportion of our energy needs. We have been using vegetable inks for over 25 years, which significantly reduce the amount of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) released into the air compared with petroleum-based inks.

We recycle all used printing plates, ink tins, paper, cardboard, pallets and plastic wrapping. We use recycled toner cartridges in our offices and offer recycled paper to our customers. Over 90% of our mailings are carried out using potato starch wrap, which degrades like food waste and can be composted or disposed of in a bin with other waste.
