The Bereavement Counselling Services

At Bereavement Counselling Services, we understand that losing a loved one can be a devastating experience. Our team of highly trained and dedicated counsellors and volunteers are here to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to express your feelings and emotions. We believe that everyone deserves to grieve in their own way and at their own pace.

Our Services

We offer a range of counselling services, including bereavement counselling and Acacia Counselling for those with life-limiting illnesses and their carers. Our services are provided by carefully selected and highly qualified volunteers who are trained and supervised to the highest standards. All of our counsellors are members of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy and are required to attend regular in-house training to ensure their knowledge and skills are kept up to date.

Our counselling services are available to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one, regardless of when the loss occurred. We also provide counselling for those who are caring for someone with a life-limiting illness. Our services are offered freely, although donations are welcome.

Our History

We have been providing bereavement counselling services to the community of West Lancashire for over 25 years. During this time, we have helped countless individuals to come to terms with their loss and find a way to move forward. Our team of dedicated volunteers and counsellors are passionate about providing the highest level of care and support to those who need it most.
