The Old Cross Inn and Restaurant, situated on the outskirts of Blairgowrie, Perthshire, is a traditional coaching inn that has been lovingly restored to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Our family-run inn has a rich history dating back to 1865, when it was originally called The Rattray Hotel. Since June 2017, we have been owned by Ian and Kelly Mann and their family, who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and comfort to all who visit us.

We are proud to have achieved the Taste Our Best Quality Assured Certificate 2018/2019, awarded by Visit Scotland, which reflects our commitment to using the best possible ingredients and practices. Our menu changes seasonally, ensuring that our dishes are always fresh and exciting. We also cater to those with dietary requirements, offering gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.
Accommodation and Services
We have four en-suite bedrooms, including super king-size rooms and twin rooms, all of which are beautifully decorated and furnished to provide the utmost comfort and relaxation. Our lounge bar area is the perfect place to unwind, with a large TV showing BT Sports, relaxing sofas, and a cozy coal fire. We also offer a range of services, including a table service, to ensure that your stay with us is enjoyable and hassle-free.
About Our Family
Our family is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all who visit us. Kelly, a local of Rattray, grew up just 200 yards from the inn, and Ian, Kelly, and their family are passionate about sharing their love of the area with our guests. Our team, including Alex and Josh in the kitchen, and Ian at the front of house, are all committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring that your stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
