Overview of Hankham Primary School
Hankham Primary School is located in a picturesque village and offers a good educational experience for its students. It is known for its dedicated staff, including the former Headmaster, Mr. Round, and its extra activities such as coach trips, karate, Easter and Christmas fairs, and biking.
Parent Experiences
Author Simon Gorman, who gave the school a 5-star rating, had two children, Lisa and Peter, attend the school from grade one to grade five. The Gormans moved to Ontario, Canada, but they maintained a positive view of the school. They appreciated the extra activities and the staff's dedication. They even visited the school during a trip to the UK and were given a tour of the new facilities by Mrs. Ripley and Mrs. Smith.
Issues with Special Educational Needs
Author Jacques Porteous, who gave the school a 1-star rating, had a negative experience with the school's Special Educational Needs (S.E.N.) department. They felt let down by the school's handling of S.E.N. issues.
