Established in 1905 by William Twigg, our business has been built on a foundation of service, expertise, experience, reliability, and flexibility. Today, four generations later, we continue to grow and innovate, serving both trade and public customers with exceptional service across everything we do.
Our Stores section carries a vast range of products in stock for most trades, with over 35,000 products available in engineering supplies, power tools, hardware, plumbing, building, and DIY supplies. Our online platform allows account customers to order from our catalogue, with free next working day delivery within Derbyshire for Stores products.
Steel Services: Quality, Precision, and Efficiency
At Twiggs, we take pride in our state-of-the-art steel sawing and fabrication services. Our fully automated CNC band saw allows us to deliver high-quality, accurate cuts for a quick turnaround on orders. With a cutting range of up to 310mm for round materials and 400 x 310mm for flat materials, we can handle a variety of steel sizes and shapes with ease. Our circular cold saws assist in our quick turnaround, ranging from 350mm to 900mm in cutting capacity.
In addition to our sawing services, we offer high definition plasma profiling for intricate designs and detailed cuts with excellent edge quality. Our plate rolling and folding services can handle a variety of sizes and shapes, from simple curves to complex multi-radius bends. Section rolling is available for universal beams, columns, and channels, and our shearing services can handle rectangular and square hollow sections.

Our 60 staff members are dedicated to providing friendly, efficient service, and are always on hand to offer advice and guidance.
Stores and Steel: Convenience and Flexibility
Our Stores opening hours are from 7.30AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 12PM on Saturdays, and closed on Bank Holidays. Our Steel stock and fabrication delivery service has a small fixed charge of just 15.00 + VAT for deliveries within a 25-mile radius, and we offer free next working day delivery within Derbyshire for Stores products.
