At Aangan Restaurant, we invite you to experience the rich and diverse flavours of traditional Indian cuisine. Our restaurant, located at 76a Crossgate, Cupar, KY15 5HS, is a celebration of the culture and history of India, embodied in the decor and objects d'art that represent the regions of Indraprastha and Hastinapur.

Our Menu

Our menu features a mix of four dominant cuisine types from the capital region Delhi, namely Bania, Kayastha, Muslim and Mughlai. Our gourmet specialties represent the finest by vegetarian and non-vegetarian culinary traditions, with authentic elements that have influenced cooking since the Sultanat period. Our food is spicy, but not 'chili hot', as we make use of exotic spices for their flavours and aroma. We freshly grind our spices and herbs every day to give you a memorable dining experience.

Our a la carte menu prices range from 4.50 to 12.95 for starters and 8.50 to 17.95 for main courses. We also offer 2 courses for 15.95 and 3 courses for 19.95, available from Sunday to Thursday. You can view our full menu here.

Celebrating Indian Spices

The history of Indian spices is probably as old as human civilization itself. The cultural Era of bygone past continued to have strong influential use of Indian spices. The earliest literary record in India on spices is the Rig Veda (around 6000 BC). At Aangan, we celebrate the magic of Indian cuisine through the blending of spices, using exotic spices for their flavours and aroma. We would appreciate if you could let us know about your preferences by Mild, Medium or Hot.

Our chef's at "AANGAN" practice the art of blending and freshly grinding of spices to give you an unforgettable culinary experience.
