Fireplace by Design, a historic business located in Measham, Leicestershire, has been manufacturing fireplaces on its premises since 1961. Our long-standing tradition of crafting fireplaces continues, with over 90% of our fireplace range still being made in our factory. We take pride in our heritage and the unparalleled experience it brings to our work.

Our showroom is the largest in the midlands, spanning two floors and stocking hundreds of fires, fireplaces, and stoves. We are proud to provide full wheelchair access to both floors and ample car parking directly outside of the store. Our showroom is a testament to our commitment to offering a diverse selection of products, with a wide range of traditional and contemporary styles to suit every taste.

Our Services

At Fireplace by Design, we offer a comprehensive range of services that cater to all of your fireplace, stove, and heating needs.

*Fires*: Our selection of fires includes traditional and contemporary designs, with gas, electric, and solid fuel options available. We offer inset, free-standing, hole-in-the-wall, and wall-mounted models, and we cater to rooms without a chimney or flue by providing powerflue, balanced flue, and flueless gas fires, as well as a wide range of electric fires.

*Fireplaces*: We manufacture over 90% of our fireplace range in our Measham factory, and the majority of our fireplaces can be made to measure, allowing you to choose from a variety of colours and finishes. Our range includes marble and stone fireplaces, with traditional and contemporary styles available.

*Stoves*: Our selection of stoves ranges in size from 2KW heat output upwards. We carry large stocks of stoves and can advise on the correct size of stove for your needs. Our registered fitters can also arrange installation for you.

*Media Walls*: Media walls provide a modern alternative to conventional fireplaces. We offer a range of captivating Ezee Glow electric fireplaces that can be integrated into your personalised media wall, providing a contemporary heating solution.

Our Team

Our team consists of highly skilled and experienced masons, many of whom are time-served. We prioritise the use of modern technology backed up by high-quality masons for finishing and manufacturing. Our design and survey team are available for bespoke work, and we stock one of the largest selections of fireplaces in the country.
