What We Do

We can help with outline and detailed planning applications, building regulations, and structural calculations.

Our business concentrates mainly on residential properties, and we have extensive experience in this area. However, we also take on commercial projects such as public houses or offices. We have worked on properties in Plymouth, The South Hams, West Devon, Cornwall, and other areas, including Southampton, Hertfordshire, The New Forest, and London.

Costs and Fees

We are committed to having the most competitive fee structure, and we will match or beat any written quote you have received from anyone offering the equivalent service. The fees we charge depend on the size of the existing property and the complexity of the proposal. We believe that every project should start with quality plans at a reasonable price.

Here is a guide to the likely fees involved:

  • Loft Conversion: An average loft conversion costs 775 (plus VAT) for fully detailed plans, including all structural calculations.
  • Single Storey Extension: An average single-storey extension costs 650 (plus VAT) for fully detailed plans, including building regulations.
  • Two Storey Extension: An average two-storey extension costs 975 (plus VAT) for fully detailed plans, including building regulations.
  • New Houses:

+ Outline Application: An average application costs 1,000 (plus VAT).

+ Detailed Application: An average detailed application costs 2,000 (plus VAT).

  • New buildings also carry additional costs, including a Land Contamination Report costing approximately 525 (plus VAT) and a Surface Water Drainage Assessment, including flood risk assessment, costing approximately 850 (plus VAT).
