The Gatehouse

The Gate House B&B Guest House Accommodation is a privately run guest house located in the heart of Epping, Essex. Our guest house is situated on the edge of Epping Forest, just over a mile to Epping town centre and 1 mile from Epping Station, which is only a 40-minute train ride to central London. We are ideally situated for walkers, with facilities to dry wet gear, and well centred for visiting Cambridge, Audley End, and other places of interest.

Our Services

At The Gate House, we offer a range of services to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Our guest house has a total of four bedrooms, each decorated and furnished to a high standard with en-suite facilities, flat screen televisions, and tea and coffee making facilities. We also have a breakfast room and a sitting room for the use of our guests, with books, board games, and information on the local area.

Our Rooms

Our bedrooms are all individually designed and furnished to provide a comfortable and relaxing space for our guests. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, flat screen television, and tea and coffee making facilities. We have a range of rooms available, including a ground floor room with a double bed and a wet room, which is fully disabled accessible. We also have a small apartment available, which is perfect for longer stays.

Tariffs

We offer competitive tariffs for our rooms, with prices starting from 80 per night for single occupancy and 90 per night for double occupancy. We also offer a continental breakfast, and a full English breakfast is available for an additional 7.50.

Staying in Epping

Epping has a lot to offer, whether you're staying for a night or a week. We are situated close to the Forest Gate Inn, a local friendly pub offering fine ales and food. We are also close to Epping Station, which is on the Central Line, and Stansted Airport is just a 25-minute drive away. There are plenty of local places of interest to visit, including Cambridge, Audley End, and Epping Forest.
