At The Independent Baker, we have been delighting the residents of Hythe, Kent since 2014 with our freshly baked, scrumptious treats. Everything in our bakery is made on the premises from scratch every day, using only the finest ingredients, and of course, a heaping helping of love. Our mission is to put a smile on your face with every bite, and we take great pride in the reputation we have built for selling out of our delicious creations before the day is done!

Our cakes and cupcakes are a favourite among our customers, and for good reason! We bake a wide variety of flavours that change weekly, so there's always something new to try. From traditional Victoria sponge and coffee and walnut to decadent chocolate ganache and tangy lemon curd, we have a cake to suit every taste. We also offer whole cakes for pre-order with at least 5 days' notice, making us the perfect choice for special occasions.

Our brownies and blondies are legendary in Hythe for their rich, fudgey texture and indulgent flavours. We offer a range of options, from classic chocolate to inventive flavour combinations such as honeycomb and biscoff. These treats are sure to satisfy even the most discerning sweet tooth.
*Doughnuts*
We refer to our doughnuts as "pillows of joy", and one bite will tell you why! Our doughnuts are soft, fluffy, and bursting with flavour. From traditional raspberry jam to inventive flavours like honeycomb and biscoff, our doughnuts are a must-try.
*Savoury Delights*
We offer a selection of freshly baked savoury delights, including quiches, sausage rolls, and cheese scones. These are the perfect choice for a light lunch or afternoon snack.
