Powder Coating
Our powder coating service provides durable, eco-friendly finishes for architectural and industrial metalwork. Using electrostatic application and heat curing, we achieve high-build coatings up to 150 microns with excellent corrosion resistance. Available in RAL and British Standard colours, our system includes shot blasting preparation and zinc priming for optimal adhesion. This solvent-free process offers superior durability and environmental benefits compared to traditional painting methods.
Shot Blasting
Shot blasting prepares metal surfaces to SA2.5/SA3 standards using dual blast rooms and a new Kube Blast Automation system. Our 128m booth handles large components with high-pressure blast pots and automated abrasive recovery. This process removes contaminants and creates optimal surface profiles for coating adhesion, supporting both small and large-scale projects with consistent quality control.
Hot Zinc Spray
Hot zinc spray provides long-term corrosion protection exceeding 20 years in aggressive environments. This metal spraying technique applies zinc coatings that meet EN ISO 14713 standards, offering an alternative to galvanizing for large or complex steelwork. Our system includes dedicated preparation areas and quality assurance checks to ensure coating integrity and compliance with international specifications.
Intumescent Paint
Certified intumescent paint application for structural steelwork achieves up to 120-minute fire ratings. We apply systems from Akzo Nobel and Nullifire that expand under heat to protect steel substrates. Services include compatibility assessments, surface preparation, and full documentation for building regulation compliance. Available in decorative finishes for both internal and external applications.
Wet Spray
Our wet spray facility handles priming and specialist paint systems including MIO and 2K coatings. The 200m unit with LEV extraction supports blast and prime operations alongside intumescent systems. We provide a unique 60-year guarantee on selected coating systems, independently validated for long-term performance. This applies to our proprietary ArmourGuard3 Tri-Coat system and specific hot zinc spray applications.
