With over thirty years of experience, our committed and experienced team is dedicated to giving your child the best possible start in life.

Our History

Our story began in the mid-80s when a small group of mothers came together to create a pre-school that reflected their own values and aspirations for their children. Since then, we have grown and evolved, moving to our current location at The Hilt Community Centre in Chandlers Ford. Today, we are a highly respected and much-loved community-led pre-school, with registered charitable status.

Our Approach

We believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with care, respect, and kindness. Our approach is centered around the child, with a focus on play-led learning and a commitment to providing a safe, secure, and happy environment. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure that every child's individual needs are met, and we offer flexible and collaborative settling-in periods to make the transition to playgroup as smooth as possible.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support the needs of pre-school age children and their families. Our experienced team provides high-quality care and education, with a focus on preparing children for school and beyond. We also offer lunch clubs, providing a nutritious meal and an opportunity for socialization and play. Our playspace is located in the heart of Hiltingbury, with direct access to Hiltingbury Rec and playground, and Hocombe Mead nature reserve, providing a unique and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Our Team

Our team is led by Kate Booth, our Supervisor, who is supported by a dedicated team of Key People and committee members. We are proud of our reputation for exceptional care and education, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in everything we do.
