Nestled in the charming village of Zeals, Cornerways Cottage offers a warm and comfortable stay in a picturesque corner of Wiltshire. With spacious and well-appointed rooms, Cornerways Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the local area, visiting nearby attractions, or simply unwinding in a peaceful and relaxing setting.

The Accommodation

Cornerways Cottage boasts three beautifully decorated rooms, each with en-suite facilities and plenty of amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Double Ensuite room offers picturesque views of the garden and fields, while the Four Poster Ensuite room offers a cosy retreat with views over open countryside. Meanwhile, the Twin Room with Private Bathroom provides a spacious and comfortable option for guests.

All of our rooms come equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, radio, television, hairdryer, and individual heating. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and strive to provide everything our guests might need during their stay.

Dining

Guests can enjoy a full cooked English or Continental breakfast in our lovely old beamed dining room, which overlooks the garden and fields. We offer an excellent choice of fruits and cereals, as well as local produce, and can accommodate vegetarian and other dietary requirements.

While we do not offer dinner in-house, there are several excellent local pubs and restaurants nearby, serving a range of delicious dishes to suit all tastes.

Facilities and Services

Cornerways Cottage is open all year round, except for Christmas and New Year. Our rates for bed and breakfast are as follows:

• Double Occupancy: 75 per room per night
• Single Occupancy: 60 per room per night

We require a deposit of 50 per person by cheque, Visa, or Mastercard upon reservation. Discounts are available for stays of three nights or more, and we offer a reduction for children having an extra room.

Our facilities include en-suite facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing facilities, secure off-road parking, private fishing nearby, a TV lounge, hairdryer in all rooms, and special diets catered for. We are a non-smoking establishment and do not permit smoking anywhere in the cottage.

Local Attractions

Cornerways Cottage is conveniently located for exploring a range of local attractions, including Stourhead House and Gardens, Wardour Castle, Longleat House and Safari Park, Hadspen House and Garden, and Wilton House. For those interested in history and culture, there are plenty of options to choose from, including the Roman Baths, Sherborne Abbey, and Stonehenge.

If you prefer the great outdoors, there are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, horse riding, and fishing in the local area. We are very close to the Wiltshire cycleway, and there are several golf courses nearby, including Sherborne Golf Course and Orchard Lee Golf Course.
